I understand that topics that are not being followed are going
unread. I do this too when the topic does not interest me.
Being a packrat, I keep all of them, so I can look at them later
if I want to. (01)
It should not be an assumption that you (or anyone) will want to
read all messages in all threads. It should also not be the case
that everyone feel that they have to be part of a discussion
as it happens. It can go on with a subgroup. (02)
However, it MUST be the case for these little chatterlets to get
summarized, refactored, refined, so that we can gain
from the process. (03)
We don't do the refactoring as much as we ought, but several
people are trying. (04)
