ABOUT THIS CALL: (07)
This call features Hinda Winawer and Norbert Wetzel, two family
therapists, and their work through the Princeton Center for Family,
Community and Social Justice. Norbert and Hinda have developed a unique
and promising approach for improving the lives of troubled adolescents
in the inner cities of New Jersey. Their work focuses on strengthening
relationships between the adolescents, their families, schools and
community agencies instead of focusing solely on the adolescents as
individuals and their "disabilities". (08)
To you prepare for this call and learn about Hinda and Norbert's work,
we suggest you read their book chapter "School-Based Community Family
Therapy for Adolescents at Risk". You can find the link to it on the
Plexus homepage under the E-Library banner. (09)
