Hi, (01)
No, other than the code directions posted in my blog it isn't online
yet. I haven't finished messing with it yet. ;) (02)
I've tracked down four serious /free/ WYSIWYG javascript web editors
that claim to be cross-browser, cross-platfrom, etc.
FCKEditor
TinyMCE
rte (Rich Text Editor)
HtmlArea.Indite (htmlArea 3 spin-off)
(htmlArea no longer has commercial support, but is not dead on the
sourceforge. However, I did see the Drupal crew worrying about the
BSD-like license, since they espouse GPL. (03)
There's also Xinha (another htmlArea v3 spin-off). (04)
At the moment I'm not looking to support purple numbers in the client.
Pimki supports a diff process on pages, and if I can figure out how to
get it working in the 'save' chain, purple numbers could be updated
server-side without fiddling in the client javascript.
It seems a more sensible approach for many reasons, so I'll head that
way first. (05)
More on the blog soon. (06)
