For _reading_ it might be better if folks could just switch to the
language of their choice like at Wikipedia.org. (02)
And my personal understanding of purple numbers is that they uniquely
identify paragraphs, so p#1 in English should be given a different
purple number in say, Spanish: e.g. p#15. That way transclusions
would transclude the right language version as selected for
transclusion because URIs would be specific. (03)
In relation to the translation process check out the Project
Gutenberg distributed proofreaders website at
http://www.pgdp.net/c/default.php
If their software is open it would provide big headstart.
Also, maybe ask the Wikipedia.org folks if they had any systematic
approach to translations. (04)
