I have a different assessment.  Mitch is very aware of both Doug and
Ted's work; in fact, their underlying data model is largely inspired
by Doug.    (02)

They also definitely know what granular addressability and
transclusions are.  Remember that Mitch founded Lotus, and that
spreadsheets are the only widely used application that uses
transclusions.    (04)

All that said, they do not think that granular addressability is
important enough to prioritize, and so they haven't.  With all of you
folks going out into your respective communities and evangelizing, I
expect that to slowly change. :-)    (05)
