I don't quite understand what you're asking for. You make three
points: (03)
* You'd like to link things to the user's perspective, not the
system's perspective. (04)
Are you saying that users should have control over what they link
to? They already do! (05)
* You don't want to be restricted to being "in" a Wiki to use
WikiWords. (06)
I don't understand the relation of this point to your previous
point. Could you clarify? (07)
Incidentally, you don't have to be in a Wiki to use WikiWords.
Chris's mods to MovableType is an excellent example of this.
Garold's suggestion of integrating WikiText into e-mail archives
is another. (08)
* You'd like a more generalized linking system, perhaps Annotea. (09)
More generalized than what? (010)

What exactly are you looking for here? (012)
If you're talking about human-to-human communication, that mechanism
exists. You say at the begining of your e-mail, "I'm talking in
DevelopmentalNeurobiologistSpeak." (013)
If you're talking about computer-to-computer communication, that
mechanism also exists. You declare namespaces that are associated
with ontologies. (014)
