I think both Peter and Eric are right, for different user communities. For
example, my feeling (just speculation) is that people who are comfortable
with programming-style constructs will find WikiWords quite amenable, while
people who aren't, won't. (01)
I am somewhere in the middle (a KindaSortaNotReally programmer who has
worked with programmers and in programming for a long time). I personally
find Wikis, in their current state, confusing -- though I can readily see
that they would be great for some people. I see them as a step on the path. (02)

I heartily disagree :)
Wiki words are bowing and scraping to the inadequacies of the tools.
Secondly, mashing concepts together in unwarranted neologisms
actually encourages conceptual elision, increases misunderstandings
between disparate cliques, and reduces the chances of finding
important 'missing nothings'...imho. (010)
