I'll just add that it might be best to start with a particular wiki in
mind. I would suggest http://www.socialtext.com Peter Kaminski, Adina
Levin, Edward Vielmetti, Ross Mayfield have started this "social
software" company, and they have a lot going for them, and they are
nice. Pete and I think Ross are in Silicon Valley. (01)
I'd also suggest trying, much like Dorai said, to start with the
simplest HTML page - say just text in paragraphs - and put that into
XML. See if we can sync that (so that changing one page gets reflected
in the other). Then add metadata. Then allow the page to be more
complicated, like allowing horizontal rules, then lists, and so on. It
should act like a worm hole between groups. (02)
