That's a loaded gun. Do you want a homogenous set of replies?
Depends on the group and the question. In this particular group I
would hope that we would get lots of different replies because
there is no particular charter and no particular technology being
investigated.    (03)

I think you are right to be suspect of XTM when straight answers
are hard to find. Seems to me a specification should be able to
clearly articulate such things.    (04)

Question: would people here consider XTM a protocol or a
language? I'm defining protocol a specification for achieving a
known task and language as a set of building blocks
for...whatever...    (05)
