I'm thinking it might make sense to create a project-synopis
Wiki page, so people could describe the projects they're
working on. (01)
What I would really like to see:
a) A one-paragraph summary of the benefit proposition.
(What the system is intended to do, what goals it aims
to achieve.) (02)
b) A one-line summary of the project's progress and
optimistic/realistic/pessimistic predictions for when it
might be done. (03)
c) A listing/outline showing the technology stack.
--what technologies are being imported and used?
--what technologies are being constructed? (04)
d) A one-line description of the development environment.
(languages, tools, etc.) (05)
c) Pointers to:
* Detailed feature / benefit list
* User guide or other how-to-use-it documentation
* Development timeline / todo list (06)
If all the projects were summarized on a single web-page, such that
when printed each project would use exactly one paper-page, it
would be mega easy to compare and contrast the projects, and see:
* Which project looks like fun to work on
* Which projects might dovetail with one another (07)
